Solicitors Regulation Authority

ANGLO–NILE INTERNATIONAL LEGAL SERVICES LTD is not an SRA-authorised law firm.

Saad Moussa is individually registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority as a Registered Foreign Lawyer (RFL).

This is an individual professional registration relating to Saad Moussa. It does not extend SRA firm authorisation to ANGLO–NILE INTERNATIONAL LEGAL SERVICES LTD as an organisation.

The designation Registered Foreign Lawyer is distinct from admission as a Solicitor of England and Wales and reflects the registration with the SRA of a lawyer professionally qualified through a foreign legal profession.

Professional Registration in Egypt

Saad Moussa is professionally registered as a lawyer with the Egyptian Bar Association, the professional body governing the legal profession in Egypt.

This professional registration forms the basis of his qualification in Egyptian law and his professional standing within the Egyptian legal profession.

Where a matter requires court representation, local filing or another procedural step in Egypt, the work is carried out in accordance with the professional and procedural rules applicable in Egypt and through lawyers legally authorised to undertake the relevant work.

Arab Lawyers Union

Saad Moussa is also a member of the Arab Lawyers Union.

The Arab Lawyers Union provides a regional professional framework connecting lawyers and legal organisations across Arab jurisdictions.

Membership of a professional association should not be confused with regulatory authorisation to practise in a particular jurisdiction, which remains subject to the competent professional or regulatory authority in that jurisdiction.

The Law Society

Professional information relating to individuals registered through the SRA may also be displayed through the Find a Solicitor service operated by The Law Society of England and Wales.

Saad Moussa’s appearance in that professional directory relates to his individual professional status. It does not mean that ANGLO–NILE INTERNATIONAL LEGAL SERVICES LTD is itself registered or regulated as a law firm by The Law Society.

The Law Society is the professional body for solicitors in England and Wales, while relevant regulatory functions are carried out by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Data Protection & ICO Registration

ANGLO–NILE INTERNATIONAL LEGAL SERVICES LTD is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for data protection purposes.

This registration relates to the company’s responsibilities concerning the handling and protection of personal information under applicable UK data protection requirements.

ANGLO–NILE focuses principally on Egyptian law, Egyptian legal documents, procedures connected with Egypt and cross-border matters requiring Egyptian-law knowledge.

Where Saad Moussa performs work in his capacity as a Registered Foreign Lawyer, the professional and regulatory obligations applicable to him individually continue to apply in accordance with the relevant rules.

Clients should not, however, assume that the individual professional registration of a lawyer automatically gives ANGLO–NILE the regulatory status or protections applicable to an SRA-authorised law firm.

Where a particular instruction requires the involvement of an independent lawyer licensed in Egypt or another professional, their role will be identified according to the agreed scope of the service.

Regulatory Protections & Client Information

The regulatory protections that apply to a particular service may depend on the nature of the work, the person carrying it out and the professional or regulatory framework applicable to that person or service.

Where regulatory, insurance, complaints or other professional information must be provided in connection with a particular instruction, the relevant information will be given as part of the client engagement process where applicable.

The individual registration of a lawyer or other professional should not be treated as automatically extending regulation to the company or to every service supplied through it.

Complaints & Professional Conduct

ANGLO–NILE reviews complaints concerning services provided by the company under its applicable complaints procedure.

The availability of any external professional or regulatory complaints route may depend on the nature of the work, the person responsible for that work and the regulatory status applicable to the particular service.

Matters concerning the professional conduct of an individual regulated by the SRA remain subject to the regulatory rules and jurisdiction of the SRA to the extent applicable to that person and the work concerned.

Independent Verification

We encourage clients, solicitors and other professionals to verify relevant corporate and professional information directly through the appropriate official or professional registers.
